2008 505 Pacific Coast Championship - Confirmation of Regatta Schedule

Greetings 505 Fleet,
The regatta schedule for the 2008 505 Pacific Coast Championship has been confirmed as Saturday and Sunday, August 9-10. There was a discrepancy between the national schedule and the schedule planned by StFYC. The NOR previously posted on the www.stfyc.com website indicated the event schedule was Friday through Sunday. Many competitors were not aware of the longer event and made travel plans based on only two days. My poll resulted in 100% of responders saying they are in favor of a two day event.
A revised NOR has been posted on the StFYC website. StFYC needs an accurate count of competitors in the very near future and it would be great for everyone that is planning on sailing to pre-register in the next day or so to give them the info they need to host a great event (and you save $50!). You can pre-register and download the revised NOR online at:
https://app1.regatta-manager.com/stfrancisyc/20085o5PCCs
I am posting this to the 505 North America (Google), 505 West Coast (Google), and 505west (SailPix) list servers in hopes that this information reaches all interested parties. Please spread the word to those friends that you know are planning on racing so no one shows up early unnecessarily.
Thanks,
-Nick
