Regatta Reports
It is the Pacific Northwest's turn to host the PCC's in 2010. We have chosen to hold the event in the sailing town of Port Townsend, Washington.

If you are not familiar with "PT" (Port Townsend) check out some of the links. Absolutely incredible scenery from the beach just tops off the great sailing!

Here is a preliminary "Notice of Race" for the 2010 PCC's:

The Port Townsend Sailing Association is proud to announce that it will host the 2010 505 Pacific Coast Championship regatta in Port Townsend, Washington. The event will be held at Fort Worden State Park on Saturday, May 22 through Monday, May 24, 2010. (It is a Canadian holiday on Monday.)

Port Townsend is an historic seaport with a Victorian flavor, a vibrant waterfront, numerous restaurants and attractions for the whole family. It also offers good sailing and consistant breeze in May.(8-15 knots is typical) There are many inns, hotels, B&B's and camping options, but it is important to reserve early, as Port Townsend is a popular destination. For some of you, travel to Port Townsend will involve using the Washington State Ferry system, and here again, advanced reservations are a good idea.

Expect to see a dedicated website and links in the very near future. We look forward to throwing a great regatta and seeing you all here in PT!

If you can't wait to get more info you can reach Dan Ginther at 360 385-5188 or dang@mrjconstructors.com or Piper Dunlap at 360 774-0819, or piperdunlap@gmail.com.

Check out these links to get a feel for the town.
